A better OEM brief for matcha: from product idea to production-ready requirement
The fastest route to a useful quotation is a brief that separates product, packaging, compliance and commercial assumptions.

Product layer
Define application, target taste, color, dosage, ingredients, claims and benchmark products. If you do not have a final formula, explain the commercial position and target consumer instead of leaving the supplier to guess.
Packaging layer
Specify net weight, pack type, barrier expectation, closure, printing method, case pack and destination-market labelling. Separate visual aspirations from technical constraints so design does not get approved before the pack can actually run on the filling line.
Commercial layer
State trial quantity, expected recurring volume, launch date, destination and target Incoterm. This allows the supplier to distinguish a sampling project from a production program and propose a realistic MOQ path.
